AI Avatar Client Meetings
A live, real-time conversational AI avatar that runs actual client meetings — in the browser or inside Zoom/Meet/Teams
Project Summary
A production system that puts a live AI avatar of the founder into real sales and discovery calls. Clients join a browser room with no install or account, or the avatar is invited into their own Google Meet/Zoom/Teams call as a labeled AI participant. The avatar holds a natural spoken conversation in real time — listening, turn-taking, and responding with voice and a photoreal talking head — briefed per-meeting with the full deal context. The engineering centerpiece is leg-chaining: the vendor caps a session at ten minutes, so a 30-minute meeting is a chain of sessions each seeded with the running transcript, with the browser owning the handover and recording one continuous artifact. Meetings run on an explicit FSM (scheduled, lobby, live, ended) with the exact persona configuration audited per meeting, a burn-free preflight that proves the whole stack before any client is invited, self-serve scheduling links, transcripts, and automated follow-up.
Our role: Full product: architecture, engineering, meeting ops
What We Did
- In production for real prospect calls sourced from Upwork — meetings offered, booked, held, and followed up autonomously by an AI agent
- Leg-chaining beats the vendor's 10-minute session cap: fresh sessions seeded with the transcript so far, persona resumes mid-thought, one continuous recording across handovers
- Burn-free preflight mints a real session token from the real persona config — proving the stack end-to-end without spending meeting minutes
- Invite path places the avatar inside the client's own meeting as a disclosed, badged AI participant
